Shakira Kali was born and raised in Detroit Michigan.  She was inspired at an early age due to her grandmother owning a beauty salon and her mother being a nail technician. She always had in interest in the beauty industry growing up, and it made sense that she would one day follow in the same foot steps as the main two beautiful woman in her life. They inspired her to attend cosmetology school. In 2011 she attended Paul Mitchell The School Michigan full time until graduation in 2012. Shortly after, she became a licensed cosmetologist within the state of Michigan.

Her passion is healthy hair with high-fashion, creatively executed and uniquely crafted styling.  Who says great-looking hair cannot be healthy?
